Stating the obvious, Raymond Pettibon’s iconic ‘4 bars’ logo is a largely popular tattoo in the punk and hardcore world. Steward Dean Ebersoles’ book “Barred For Life” chronicles people’s fascination with the design and the stories behind their tattoos. On June 23, 2013 Bowery Electric  hosted a book release show featuring many of the songs that put the  spotlight on Pettibon’s  work in the first place. A revolving cast of vocalists was backed by Todd Youth on guitar, Steve Soto on Bass and Randy Schrager on drums, with occasional support from Dez Cadena on second guitar.
