Hey, somehow ran across this, the video you have posted under “snaked” at abc bo rio in 05 was actually a ramones covrrband me andy friends did for joey ramone day. we were called the shitty ramones. forgive the typing, writing this on a phone.

Look dude, January 2001 they played at Big Day Out, where a girl DIED due to the moshing while the headliner Limp Bizkit was playing. If I was there, in the audience, on the stage, anywhere, I’d be scarred for life. They had ALWAYS spoken against moshing. Not only can something bad happen like someone is injured or killed, but it’s just rude and annoying to begin with. Did you listen to Cedric’s rant? It made a lot of sense! “Oh yay I get to go see my favorite band and get kicked in the face by some ass-hole.” And I hear all the time, “If you don’t wanna mosh, stay out of the moshing area.” Are you fuckin serious? So the big guys who like to be ass-holes get to choose their favorite spot where they get the best view of the band, and anybody else has to stay away? That’s such fuckin bullshit! Yes they were on drugs, which may have factored into the break-up, but it did NOT cause their dislike of moshing, they’ve always had the same opinion on it. Its stupid anyway, people should be dancing and coming up with interesting things to do during the concert, like Cedric said at Big Day Out while talking to a crowd surfer, “you learned that from the TV, you didn’t learn that from your best friend!”

I was at the Black Flag concert in Enfield at the Roller World … couldn’t believe they came to our sh*thole town!! It was awesome!!!!! Didn’t they show up really late??
